RAM for GA-H55M-S2H

Hello everyone!

I want to upgrade my RAM from 4gb to 8gb.
My problem is that one RAM slot is faulty and therefore i have to use Single 8 GB RAM module.

My question is.

Will a single 8GB G.Skill DDR3 PC3-12800 1600MHz CL11 NT Series work on a
motherboard GA-H55M-S2H?
Also please let me say that my CPU is LGA 1156 intel core i5 661 overclocked at 4.00ghz (stable) (1st Gen intel i5 CPU)

From many forums i tried to search only few said that it might work but still they were having
some arguements about it.

Please can anyone tell me that it will work? Anybody who tried it himself?
Any help or response is appreciated!

Hello,

Single 8 GB module will not work due GA-H55M-S2H. It is the motherboard's limitation.

Only 2 x 4 GB DDR3 2200+/1800/1600/1333/1066/800 MHz memory modules
