[SOLVED] Ram for i7 10700k and z490

Have ordered an i7 10700k and a z490 motherboard and I am now unsure which ram I should order for it. I have looked at Kingston HyperX FURY DDR4-3200 CL16 (152 USD used), Kingston HyperX FURY DDR4-3200 CL18 (128 USD used) or Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3200 CL16 BK DC - 16GB (120 new). Are there other alternatives I should consider? To be used for gaming (Battlefield V, cs: go) together with an rtx 2070 super

A 2x8gb 3200mhz CL16 memory kit will do the job.

Ram: As much as you're willing to spend between high frequency and low timings.
From what you listed, kits 1 and 3 are more or less the same, and better than kit 2; CL18 is pretty loose for a 3200 kit.

I think 3600 CL16 kits are what's 'in' currently.

Agreed, if you are buying the last kit of DDR4 you are likely to get, then 3600 CL16.

I used cruical ballistix 3600 CL16 in my 10700 build.

Micron chips, runs great.

If you need more then 16gb then buy a 2x16gb set.

Adding more later is a gamble, might not work together.

You don't need 32GB for gaming. If you have tons of extra cash 32gb is nice to have, but not needed for gaming. If you do a lot VM's or photo editing it can be worth it.

Lots of good memory choices. Crucial cl16 3600 like above is Micron E-DIE is great great RAM. I think crucial gets overlooked in general, I have used them quite a few times no issues.

32GB is EDEI is going to run what you 200-250 depending on where you can find it. Newegg just had a recent deal you could have got 32gb for 180 (taxes and shipping included)

Crucial Ballistix Black DDR4 3600MHz 2x8GB is out of stock at 121 usd. Instead, I have the option of Crucial Ballistix DDR4-3600 C16 DC - Red - 16GB for 132 usd or Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3200 C16 for 118 USD. Which should I choose?

Crucial Ballstic ddr 3600. Its 3600, CL16, Micron E die. It's great stuff. (I did notice some people are selling out, here comes the RAM shortages of 2021)

Found that the motherboard does not support xmp motherboard come from a lenovo legion t7 computer. CPU-z write that RAM run with frequency 1330 Mhze and CL at 19. Is this a big problem or can I wait for z490 can available used / cheaper?

Far from it. Though it does put a tiny wrench in your plans if you're part of the competitive shooter scene, as those are probably the only folks who'd miss the small gains from that.
