I just purchased this MB, and waiting for it to arrive, in the meantime, researching what type of memory to use, seems there's not much available. This was listed in the spec sheet I downloaded. Not sure exactly I should be looking for. DDR5 is the easy part, but the UDIMM leaves me puzzled as does the varied types of memory support listed, as well as the Max OC frequency? I found one article that recommended using
"G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB Series (Intel XMP) 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin SDRAM DDR5 6000 CL36-36-36-96 1.35V Dual Channel Desktop Memory F5-6000J3636F16GA2-TZ5RK" for intel i9-13900kf, which I also bought. Is this compatible. I'd like to get the fastest, which lists the 7800 as highest, but am puzzled about the meaning of the Max. OC freq, which lists 7800 down to 5600?
4x DDR5 UDIMM, Maximum Memory Capacity 128GB
Memory Support 7800+(OC)/7600(OC)/7400(OC)/7200(OC)/7000(OC)/6800(OC)/6600(OC)/6400(OC)/6200(OC)/6000(OC)/5800(OC)/5600(JEDEC)/5400(JEDEC)/5200(JEDEC)/5000(JEDEC)/4800(JEDEC) MHz
Max. overclocking frequency:
• 1DPC 1R Max speed up to 7800+ MHz
• 1DPC 2R Max speed up to 6600+ MHz
• 2DPC 1R Max speed up to 6400+ MHz
• 2DPC 2R Max speed up to 5600+ MHz
Supports Intel® XMP3.0 OC
Supports Dual-Controller Dual-Channel mode
Supports non-ECC, un-buffered memory
Thx in advance
