I know ryzen 3 is suposed to work with 2667Mhz Ram but will it work with 2333? as i already have that and am looking to upgrade to the ryzen 3 system

Solution

Should be good then, yes the RAM will work. If you ever buy new RAM for your Ryzen CPU, try for 3000MHz DDR4.

Which Pentium do you have? It would likely be more expensive to switch to AMD if you already have an Intel setup that can fit the newest Intel CPUs.

its a g4400 2c/2t Cpu (2 cores are really botlenecking me in some games even tho i have a gtx 570)so i would get this system and a used gtx 760 and my brother would keep this one. Also what is the performance diference between 1300x and 1200 has if i go for the 1300x i would have to get a slightly worse gpu

If you want to have your current system available for your brother to use, then I don't see any problem with switching to AMD. Unless you can factor in the budget value of the Pentium G4560, which it's price is currently higher than it used to be.

AMD will also be releasing their Athlon X4 900 series for the AM4 platform soon, which could be as good of value. https://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/amd-seventh-gen-a-series-apu-athlon-x4-out/

I wouldn't get the faster CPU and the worse GPU, just stick with the 1200 if you must.

in my country g4560s have reached ryzen 3 1200 prices and the ryzen 3 just beats it outright so i would put my Money on also having a new motherboard and 2 fully working systems and have 4 real cores and i would also get into some very light vídeo making so 4 cores would be a better choice
