Question RAM: Gold contacts are damaged. Still safe to use?

Hi,

I bought 32GB (2x16GB) Crucial Ballistix Sport LT from Amazon Warehouse for super cheap. Condition was "like new".

Unfortunately, two of the gold contacts on one RAM-stick are damaged. However, the RAM seems to work fine. I´ve encountered no issues and XMP works flawlessly.

Is it safe to use the damaged RAM or could it be harmful to other components (e. g. mainboard)?

send them back with a picture to prove the defect .
