Hi, I want to upgrade my RAM and GPU since my GTX 950 died and I'm not getting anywhere with my ram.
Would a GTX 1660ti be enough for some FPS games on low-medium graphics?
Also what RAM could you recommend.

Current spec:

Gigabyte Z170-HD3
Intel Core i5 6600k @4.2Ghz
8GB DDR4 1200MHZ
600W Power Supply

Thanks for the replies. My motherboard supports up to 3466Mhz but on the Intel website it says: Memory Types: DDR4-1866/2133. So could I go higher than 2133Mhz or should I stick it?
That's the RAM I would go for: https://www.newegg.com/corsair-16gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820233831
Don't just buy random RAM, you need to buy one from this compatibility list:
https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Memory/mb_memory_ga-z170-hd3.pdf

The fastest compatible with your motherboard is the ADATA AX4U3466W4G16-BWZ (Fastest of the 3), GSkill F4-3400C16D-16GVK and the F4-3400C16D-16GTZ.

It needs to be in his motherbaord's QVL memory compatiblity list, otherwise his PC might not boot or crashes.
How do you check ram compatability. I have the gaming 3 x370 and 3200 rgb corsair memory, my computer once a month or so will bluescreen with different errors but all leads to a memory issue.
