Mobo:
Gigabyte 990FXA UD3 Rev.4
CPU:
AMD FX-6300 (6-Core)
RAM:
Had: Corsair XM3 3x 2gb (6gb total)1333mhz 1.5v
Now: Gskill RipjawX 2x 8gb (16gb total)1600mhz 1.5v
GPU:
Sapphire HD 7870 2gb OC Edition
PSU:
850 Watt (kind of old)
Just put the new Gskill RipjawX RAM in today. When I put it in, and booted the UEFI my RAM was clocked at 1333mhz. I turned on XMP Profile 1 it then had my RAM clocked at 1600mhz like it should be. Is this good for my AMD system and or the RAM/CPU? My CPU has turbo clock will it give higher temps and or destroy my Processor?
