Solution Dunlop0078 Dec 14, 2014 No it wont work you have to get the exact same ram that is already in there with the exact same specs or the system probably wont even boot.

And make sure the operating system is 64-bit. 32-bit can only read a maximum of 4gb of ram. Upvote 0 Downvote
