I have a GA-X99-UD3 motherboard and I am trying to install new ram which the model number is CMK32GX4M2B3000C15. When I install it the PC starts up and within 10 seconds it shuts off and does that continuously. I can't get into the BIOS or anything. I have tried resetting the CMOS twice and I have tried every slot pattern. My old ram which is what I had before still works which is the G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 Series 8GB 2x4GB. My BIOS version is f4 if that helps but I can't figure out the root of the problem.

The ram is listed as compatible according to the list of supported ram given by Gigabyte so I'm not sure what may be causing the issue. Can anyone help?

See the link above for the motherboard manual. Page 16 indicates the preferred memory slots to use. Are you using those?
Yessir I used both 2 and 4. When that didn't work, I tried different combinations/patterns to see if those would work.
