I've just purchased a new PNY 4070 Ti Super (16 GB) video card. To minimize bottlenecking, what RAM type (and how much), Intel CPU, and MB would be a good choice for me? I mostly play DCS and MS Flight Simulator, with an occasional driving simulator thrown in. Thanks for your help!

The process is somewhat out of order....

Most software apps provide some listing of required hardware specs in the form of "minimal", "recommended", and "best".

You do not want minimal and you do want as much best as you can afford.

Budget?

Check the hardware requirements for the games and simulators you wish to play.

First, you need a motherboard that supports the required CPU and RAM (type and amount).

Second, you need to consider the drive(s) - I do not recommend anything smaller than a 512 GB SSD for boot. Games etc. likely to be on a second drive. Varies.....

Then you need a well rated PSU with sufficient wattage to support the entire system. Especially the GPU and at times of peak demands.

To help with PSU:

Read the reviews and make use of the calculators.

Plan a system that you believe meets your gaming requirements and post accordingly.

Post accordingly in order to provide a meaningful starting point for other ideas and suggestions.

What country are you located and what is your budget?

Thanks for the comments! I live in the US and I'd like to keep it under $1000. I've done further research (as recommended) and I have a couple of options that I'll share with you later, and some further information about the parts that I have that I'd like to re-use.

14700K And cooling of some sort., 240mm AIO or a large dual tower air cooler. 360mm AIO if you have the room and want water cooling.
2x16GB DDR5 6000 CL30 / 6400 CL32 (2x24GB or 2x32GB if you feel you need more capacity)
Z790 motherboard with the ports you want.
ATX 3.0 or ATX 3.1 power supply with 12VHPWR / 12-pin power connector

Not too hard to put together. Review the motherboard closely. If you need storage, it is there.

Thanks to everyone for responding. Lots of good choices here and I'm leaning towards the choices posted by Eximo.
