hey guys, just bought 2 x 4gb of ram, its compatible and i noticed windows only picked up 4GB of ram, (i am running 64bit windows), so i went onto the bios and noticed this:

The computer knows that i have two sticks installed but one of the sticks is not enabled, how do i enable it?

I have now updated the bios and still nothing although a new bios thing has popped up...

EDIT: Okay I have found out its not hardware, as it picks up my old ram (1x4GB) in both slots and both of the sticks work on there own, but one of them is not being enabled on my bios, how do i change, this (for refrence look at the latest print screen please!!!))

Solution
Make sure they are firmly seated/installed - and if the DRAM was bought as two single sticks (individually packaged) they might not be compatible (yes even if the same exact model) can try booting with the good stick, go into BIOS and set DRAM voltage to 1.56 and CPU/NB voltage to 1.2 and try - if no joy, then would guess compatibility or a dead stick

AMD ATHLON X4 760K QUAD PROCCESOR

MOBO: GIGABYTE F2A58M -HD2

RAM: HyperX FURY Series 8GB (2x 4GB) DDR3 1866MHz CL10 DIMM Memory

The ram model could not be the problem, as they are both the same model and one is being picked, up. As you can see on the screenshot.

Okay will try that now, and they both came in the same package.
