Question Ram is slower than advertised.

Hello,

recently i bought HyperX 8GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16 FURY. I noticed, that it's not running on 3200mhz but on 2400mhz. XMP is enabled, however under System memory multiplier in BIOS ram speed is 2400mhz.

My specs:
-AMD Ryzen 7 2700
-HyperX 8GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16 FURY
-Gigabyte b450 Elite

Just a single 8GB RAM module?

Do you have the motherboard's User Manual?

Verify that I found the correct manual.

Check your RAM installation/configuration per Section 1-4 on physically numbered Page 9.

You may find more information on Gigabyte's website regarding supported RAM.

Yes, just one 8GB Module

I think I repaired it. I changed voltage in BIOS from 1.2V to 1.35V and the frequency changed to 3200mhz.
