Hi,

I changed the CPU from Core i5 2.6Ghz gen 9 to Core i7-9700KF 3.6GHz.
MB: Gigabyte B360 AORUS GAMING 3 WIFI ( f14bios). only slot 2 and 4 RAM works.
https://www.gigabyte.pl/products/page/mb/b360_aorus_gaming_3rev_10/kf

When trying to insert ram to slot 2 - 16GB RAM is recognized correct in BIOS:
https://www.morele.net/pamiec-kingston-fury-beast-ddr4-32-gb-2666mhz-cl16-kf426c16bbk2-32-8670487/

When try to put second RAM to slot 4 - bios loop. On Mothreboard are LED and blink CPU and RAM. (this MB has this function).
When I insert RAM in slot 4 - 16GB RAM is recognized correct in BIOS.

I was reading some posts about this problem - is it from new CPU?
Before change CPU I was change new RAM.
I tried change RAM after cleaning MB but still the same issue.
What is Your opinion? Change RAM to new or its problem with new CPU?

what exactly are you trying to do,
install 4x RAM modules in all 4 DIMM slots?

if using multiple memory kits, don't.
stick with single packaged RAM kits.

a single packaged 2x kit would go in DIMM slots A_2 & B_2.

if for some reason you think you need 4x RAM modules, buy a 4x kit.
but, a 2x 32GB kit would be a better idea.

3.done
4.today update to F15, same issue.
5.Frequency is correct recognise in Bios 2666mhz.
6.I have Core i5 and before changing CPU i had similar issue but then changed to new RAM and problem was solved. Now when i changed CPU maybe i should change for another RAM i think..old RAM have the same issue like new one.

some advise about which RAM i should choose?

A couple of things I would try :

1. Check the socket to ensure that there are no pins out of alignment as this can cause memory issues.

2. Ensure that the cooler has not been overtightened / has been tightened evenly across all 4 corners.

I have experienced issues similar to what you have stated above so could be worth a try

What helped in your case?

I recently swapped cases but all my parts were the same. Did not remove the memory but did remove the AIO cooler. Reassembled and it would not post with it throwing memory error.

Realised that one side of the AIO coldplate was putting a lot more pressure on the cpu than it should of. Loosened off the cooler a little and everything booted fine.

The system was a 9900k/ z370 / 4x8gb system.

Have you checked the socket for any damage as well?

Ram issues on intel processors can often be traced to a bent pin in the cpu socket. The sockets are delicate and designed for only 15 insertions.

Slots not working or
no dual channel operation
are common symptoms.
A bent pin is all too easy to cause if you did not drop the processor cleanly into the socket.
If you had to wiggle it, even a tiny bit to get it seated, you can cause damage.
Such damage is considered as user error and not a valid reason for RMA.
You can perhaps bend a pin back into position with a needle.
It is worth a try.
