Ram issue, not working.

I bought 1x4 Gb ram and is not working my pc keeps rebooting when i installed it, The model is Ttranscend 4GB DDR3 1333 U-DIMM 2Rx8 VLP I installed it alongside a kingston kvr ram 2gb 667MHZ, i know your not supposed to mix and mach ram but they should work, please help.

Mixing memory of different brands or even the exact memory you already had is hit and miss.
You need to list the exact model number of each memory.

Mix and matching RAM has about 60% success rate.
It is not a 100% stuff.
If it does not work, it just does not work.
It is all about luck.

I did put the ram by its self but its the same result i even tried it on both slots, the motherboard is a gigabyte ga-g41mt-s2pt it supports memory up to 1333Mhz!

G41 Chipset motherboards uses low-density memory. Most all memory manufacturers have discontinued that kind of memory.

G41 Chipset motherboards uses low-density memory. Most all memory manufacturers have discontinued that kind of memory.

I have H61 chipset in my dell inspiron pc which i believe does not support high density RAM, but i have had no problems using high density G.Skill Ripjaws X.
One of them is 1333 MHz and the 2nd, 1600 MHz but they work just fine dual channel.
Initially i had problems. PC would not boot but after reseating the RAM and GPU i got it to work again.
