[SOLVED] RAM Issue

8GB 1200MHz
Using the integrated graphics (Vega 8)
256GB SSD
Windows 10 Home
Model: HP 15s

Task Manager shows 5,9 GB available.It recognises that there is 8GB installed but it takes away 2 of them for some reason.

First time running a laptop, i'm not sure if it's something expected or if it's an actual problem.

I read somewhere that it's the integrated graphics taking 2GB from the system, but i've built a PC with a 3400G for my brother and i didn't face this issue.

Your laptop and the 3500U works differently than a desktop with a 3400G.

What you see is expected, and not a "problem".
