Question RAM issue ?

I upgraded my MB today from MSI B5500 GAMER Gen3 to a Tomahawk B5500 WIFI MAX.

I did the change because the Gamer Gen3 did not have 3-pin headers or WIFI/BLUETOOTH capabilities. Everything worked fine otherwise.
Today I swapped out the MB's and 1 of my 4 sticks of RAM is not lit up. So I update drivers, download iCUE to see if it will work. I restart my PC and only one RAM stick lights up. I tried booting with one stick of RAM and the pc boots up and the RGB's work. So I add another in the corresponding slot and it lights up. So I shutdown and install the other two sticks (four total), the pc turns on but there's not display and my screens go to power save mode. SO I shut down AGAIN, remove two stick and the PC boots up but only one stick it lit. I also tried re-seating them multiple times and nothing worked.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening? List below of the components in the PC (minus fans, it has fans lol)

Proper bios?

You have 2 kits of ram you might want to determine which 2 sticks are a kit and just work with those 2 sticks.

Put one stick in slot a2......test.
If ok add the other stick in slot b2.....test

What 3pin headers are you talking about?
How are you using those 3pin headers?

You could just install PCIE wifi card to get wifi connectivity.

As to your ram issue -
can you show screenshots from CPU-Z - memory and spd sections?
(upload to imgur.cxom and post link)
3-pin JRGB headers. But that’s no longer the issue.

The screen shot below is with two ram sticks (only one lit up). If install all four the pc doesn’t boot up.

This is probably a stupid question, but my brother did all the installs for me on my original MB. Would the BIOS be different even though the MB is still MSI and was installed only a month ago?
Also how do I check if the proper BIOS is running?

Power up and enter the bios somewhere in there it will show the bios level installed.

Then you head out to the mobo site and see what they offer.

I updated my post before I seen your reply, but the BIOS was just installed a month ago (when I built the pc) and MSI's website says the latest BIOS update was 5/3/24, so I don't think it needs updating, right?

I just double checked and the BIOS on the new MB says “BIOS BUILD DATE 10/10/23”
Soooo I believe it needs updating.

The DRAM voltage is auto set and shows 1.192V.
I tried editing it but it won’t allow me.
In this screen - set DRAM voltage to manual and specify voltage value 1.35V.

Where are you seeing 5/3/24?

Look in the bios and see what version is installed then check the mobo site.
The date of 5/3/24 was on the MSI website for BIOS downloads. BUT in BIOS on my PC, it shows the BIOS build date of October 2023

Clear CMOS, that will default the bios anyway.

edit: You may also need to bump the SOC voltage up a notch to have 4 DIMM slots occupied. I would just troubleshoot with just one set of matched DIMMs. No point introducing so many variables with mixed ram.
I just removed the CMOS battery and let it sit for a few minutes and tried rebooting and still no display. Fans work/light up, MB lights up, just no display.
(2 sticks of RAM installed, but had no issue with 4 sticks on the old MB)

You will need to short two pins marked CLRTC on your mobo (this is while the battery is out). This clears cmos. Not taking out the battery by itself.
