i have just recently purchase a stick of G.skill pc3 - 12800 4gb ram and tried to pit in to my system and try to power on but all i recieved was a loud beeping sound. this ram is also going to be paired with my current samsung 2gb pc3-10600 ram.

i have try just straight G.skill but with the same result a loud beeping.
if anyone can suggest anything it would be lovely.

pc specs:
thermaltake 650 watt psu
intel e8500 duo core processor
amd radeon hd 6670 ddr3 2gb

Solution
No, nothing other than what I mentioned will work. The G.Skill NT series is the only RAM remaining that is compatible with LGA 775 as they require double sided 4GB modules.

here it is my mother board make and model acer fg43d motherboard

it look like a new stick of ram and it from g.skill but my local computer shop said it should work if i use it in the first slot and my 2 gb samsung stick in the second slot but i think they were wrong i even took my 2gb stick up to them and pay 70 bucks for the new one and it does not work

this is what it says on the ram
f3-1600c11s-4gns
ddr3 1600 cl11-11-11-28 1.50v
pc3-12800 4gx1 plug and play

it might just mean i need to get new ram from another source and see what happens but thanks all for your replys
