recently i noticed that my ram speed keeps lowering itself. Like the normal is 800mhz ( aka 1600 ), right? well last time i checked it was clocked to 533mhz - windows and generally everything was lagging very badly. Changed it back to 800mhz and the lag is gone. But I dont want to go to the bios every time this happens. What could be the cause of the problem? The bios or compatibility. The mobo spec shows that 1600(OC) which i think it means that it supports 1600 but have to be overclocked ram. My ram is 1600 by default....could this also affect the whole situation?

Maybe you have changed a setting in your BIOS about RAM speeds and you do not remember? if you can, go to BIOS and load the default settings and see if it fixed your problem.
