Ram kit

Hello everyone,
I am wondering about RAM kit. If I get a 16GB RAM kit (4X4GB), so what happen if one of the four RAM die? The 3 RAMs still work well?

If you have 4 sticks and one dies yes the other 3 will still work but you will lose the advantage of having the RAM running in dual channel mode.

Most good RAM has a lifetime warranty and if one dies you can just send it back for a replacement.

If a stick fails during use you might have a BSOD but if you remove the faulty RAM stick then the other three would run fine (albeit in single channel mode, decreasing performance very slightly).
