Hello,

I run:
i7 920
Asrock x58 Xtreme MoBo
3x2GB Corsair @533 DDR3 triple channel
Radeon HD 5870 GPU
Seasonic 600W PSU

lately I've been studying CPU OCing since I have never done that before. I ran across the information that RAM also overclocks with the CPU. As you can see, I run fairly slow sticks of RAM (would that bee 1066Mhz?), so my question is: is it risky to OC with such slow RAM? I plan to get my i7 up to 3.8Ghz or so. What do I need to look out for, any heads ups?

It doesn't matter which speed of RAM, risks are same and gains may be minimal. Rarely you will see RAM that OCs much over it's nominal frequency.
When OCing processor using FSB than RAM speed increases too. All of that may also be limited by MB and BIOS.
