RAM memory detected by CPU-Z but not by WIndows

Hello everybody,

First thank you for this forum which is full of information!

I explain my problem I have an Acer laptop with E5-573-52N1 4GB of RAM

I just bought a 4GB Ram to upgrade the RAM and to become happy !But now, after i install it, I discovered that Windows does not detect it !! OR, CPU-Z detects it perfectly! In short, as they say a picture is worth a thousand words, I set you a few to understand the situation

what is the problem?

Did you get an extra stick of ram to upgrade to 8GB? or get a single stick of 4GB? Try refreshing the windows index in Right click computer --> Properties it should say windows index needs refreshing. The RAM must be working or the Laptop wouldn't boot.
