Ram Mhz vs Cl

Hello, I would like to ask which ram is better. Ddr4 16gb 3200mhz cl16 or Ddr4 16gb 3600mhz cl18? The one has better frequency but the other better latecny. Which one performs better?

Frequency accompanies your processor. Your processor will receive interpreted code that's stored in ram. The higher the frequency, the faster the processor can save and retrieve the code (binary) from the ram.
Latency is the short delay before the processor can retrieve information from ram.

In conclusion, ram with better latency will be faster ram. Ram with a higher frequency is better for the processor. To answer your question on which performs better, it depends on which you are aiming for- a faster cpu, or faster ram.

Ok thank you, but in which way my pc will be faster, with faster cpu or ram? And if it is almost the same, isn't it better to go for 3200mhz (I will try to overclock
