Hi,
Is the G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4-2400MHz (2 x 16GB) F4-2400C15D-32GTZR
compatible with MSI B450 TOMAHAWK Mobo and AMD Ryzen 5 2600X CPU?
Thanks in advance.

I would definitely get a 2933 MHz or 3200 MHz RAM kit.
Faster RAM will absolutely make a difference in performance with your Ryzen CPU.
look here: https://www.gskill.com/configurator?page=1&cls=1529635169&manufacturer=1524715120&chipset=1531979578&model=1531979775&adSearch2=Tested_Speed§2933MHz,Tested_Speed§3200MHz,
Thanks for the link. I checked it out and it's suggesting the
Trident Z RGB 32GB 2400MHz CL15 (F4-2400C15D-32GTZR).

The higher speed sticks you suggested won't be a problem I take it?

No, they will work Great with your motherboard and CPU.
I use 3200 MHz TridentZ on my Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming motherboard with a Ryzen 5 2600 and they work very well for me.
See my signature for my full specs.
The F4-3200C16D-16GTZR and F4-3200C16D-16GTZRX kits are listed as compatible with your motherboard by G.Skill.

My specs almost mirror yours. I purchased the F4-3000C16D-32GTZR.
Thanks for your help.
