[SOLVED] Ram/mobo not letting me edit ram speed

When I try to change ram speed from the stock 2133 to 3000mhz, I change the docp and save and exit, then my pc turns off, turns on for ~5 seconds and then turns off. It does this 3ish times and then reverts to factory bios settings. I’m using 2x8gb of aegis ddr4 3000hz, an rog strix b450-f gaming motherboard and a ryzen 3 3200g w/ no gpu cuz $$$. If anyone could help I would appreciate it ( :

use any pre-configured memory profile available, AMP / XMP / etc.
if none, make sure the memory is listed in the motherboard QVL.
if not listed then it is more than likely not compatible.

Did you buy the memory in a 2X8GB set as one package not 2 individual sticks?

Post a link to the memory you bought.

Change it to DOCP then change the speed to 2933 and see if it works at that speed.

im 99% sure this is what I had, I’ll try 2933, but I might be getting an upgrade soon anyways(4x8gb rgb 3200hz)
