Hi, since Cyber Monday is tomorrow, I'm planning to buy 16 gb of RAM. However, after browsing through amazon, the best deal for a 16gb kit that I found says that it's "UDIMM" Memory. I checked the specifications of my motherboard, and it said that it was compatible with "DIMM" memory cards.
Could anybody tell me if they are compatible? Thanks a lot.
My Motherboard is a Gigabyte H61M S1
and the RAM cards are these:
http://www.amazon.com/Crucial-Ballistix-PC3-12800-BLS2KIT8G3D1609DS1S00-BLS2CP8G3D1609DS1S00/dp/B006YG9EEW/ref=sr_1_2?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1448812060&sr=1-2&keywords=16+gb+ram+dimm

Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi

I would look at the crucial web site and check that those dims are on recommendations for your motherboard

If amazon are similar price to crucial buy from crucial as there is a better compatibility or your money back guarantee from crucial along with free postage in most cases

Amazon is saying non eec which is daft.
As you would say eec ram for server or workstation memory
