Question Ram/motherboard/cpu compatibility question

My first "starting at zero" build, and I am unsure about what ram to look for. I have an MSI MPG x570s carbon max wi-fi, with a ryzen 7 5800x. According to MSI website, the ram compatibility list seems kind of scattered. I know someone that has a g.skill royal z set (F4-3600C14D-16GTRSA) that I can get for $175(yes, legit and trustworthy). Would this work in my setup?
