Hello!

So i have an Asrock g41m-gs3 motherboard, and i have used 2x2gb 1333mhz Kingston rams with it. I decided to upgrade to 8gb and bought 2x4gb Kingston Hyperx Fury Black 1866mhz (HX318C10FB/4). I tried installing them today, but when i try to turn the computer on, the fans start to spin up, then the pc shuts off, and it keeps repeating this. They arrived today brand new. I don't know what the problem is, i tried setting the frequency in the bios from auto to 1066mhz but nothing...

Solution
No. You will be hard-pressed to find double-sided RAM with 16 (8 per side) 256mb packages except from those sellers on Amazon/EBay. I have purchased low-density ram (but it was DDR2) for an older Core 2 system from that type of seller. The RAM is not specifically branded (the individual chips are) but the stuff I bought works fine. The RAM needs no heatspreaders... those are mostly for looks.

So to sum it up, if you want to use a 4gb per stick RAM in that motherboard you need "low-density" DDR3 (must have sixteen packages (8 on each side) @ 256mb per package on the stick). It will look roughly like this (which is directly from AsRock's support site for your motherboard): http://www.asrock.com/mb/images/RAMDoubleSide.png

This will...
I'm pretty sure that board requires what is usually called "low-density" DDR3. According to the ASROCK support page, "In order to maximize the system memory, please install 4GB memory module with 16 cells".

This thread addresses the same issue: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2116411/high-low-ram-density.html

I believe that this RAM is what you need: http://www.amazon.com/PC3-10600-DENSITY-PC10600-1333MHz-DESKTOP/dp/B00KFNGNDK/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1453227870&sr=8-4&keywords=Low+Density+Memory

Also keep in mind that you need a 64-bit OS to use more RAM than you already have.

This will work (Notice it says low-density and "16 chips" in the description): http://www.ebay.com/itm/8GB-2x-4GB-DDR3-1333MHz-PC3-10600-DESKTOP-Memory-Non-ECC-1333-Low-Density-RAM-8G-/331041120216?hash=item4d13969fd8:g:VXIAAOxyoahSVLW4
