Hi,
I have a ECS G41T R3 Motherboard. Its a HCL mobo. Now, it already had 1GB DDR3 1333mhz ram. So i bought another 4 GB ram. The ram specs are as follows. Transcend JM1333KLH-4G 4 GB 133Mhz DDR3 ram (1R/512Mx8/CL9). According to the motherboards website the motherboard supports upto 8 GB ram on 2 slots. But when i put the 4 GB ram alone, the computer wont boot, and with the 1 GB ram the bios and windows wont recognize the ram. Now the interesting part : The ram shows up on CPU Z memory (total : 5 Gb) and SPD in slot two. It is definitely not the socket problem or the ram not seated properly. Please help as i spent my money and i got nothing....Thanks in advance..
