So recently I've been realizing that my ram says that runs at 2133 (around,) but even if I go to the bios and change it to 3200 after booting it goes back to 2133. I'm waiting for a 5800X and my current built is; Radeon RX 5700XT, Sama Armor 650W, Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32gb (2×16,) MSI MPG X570 EDGE WIFI motherboard, 1 tb Samsung 970 Pro and an AMD RYZEN 7 2700. Would it be that the speed on the Ram is the result of the CPU model and if so then changing the 2700 CPU to the 5800X would solve it once I update bios for the new CPU? Do I have to get into bios after the CPU installation and bios update and set it to 3200 or would it set up by itself? Is there a problem on the RAM itself? And is it a waste to buy another set of 32gb? Thanks for the answers before hand

The RYZEN 7 2700 only supports up to 2933Mhz ram, that could be why the bios is reverting it back to 2133Mhz.

I would make sure your on the latest Bios for the motherboard, once you upgrade to the 5800x you should be able to set the xmp profile for the ram at 3200Mhz

Thanks for answering, so that means that I could set RAM at 2933Mhz for now?
