When in bios, I can set my xmp profile to either 1 or 2... 1 is meant for 3333mhz and 2 is 3600mhz. My ram is rated for 3600mhz but every time I enable xmp profile 2 it shows im running at 2133mhz while profile 1 runs perfectly at 3333mhz when I check through dragon center or when I boot into the bios. I know its not gonna make that big of a jump but I paid for the extra speed so I want to use all of it. I play high demanding games like Modern Warfare and i need all the FPS i can get.
Setup-
Cpu- R5 2600 set to 3.8
Mb- Msi Gaming Plus max b450
Gpu- Msi 1660 Ventus Xs Oc
Ssd- WD Blue 1TB M.2
Ram- G Skill Ripjaw V 16 ddr4 cl18 3600mhz
Psu- Evga 600 BQ Bronze

Solution
Try increasing the memory voltage a little and then setting it to 3600Mhz.

Add .01 volts at a time and see if that helps.

If not, you might have to loosen the timings. Not every CPU is capable, just luck of the draw.
