I just bought Kingston Hyper X Blu DDR3 1600 Mhz ram for my computer. When installed it reads all 8 GB but only reads it as 1333 Mhz. Leading to my question, do I need to manually OC the ram to get the advertised speed? I've read the sticky in the forum, and also Kingston's website. Basically the website said I might have to set the values manually. Can you point me to either the values or a guide to OC'ing my ram? I've overclocked a cpu so I can't see it being much different, just no experience with it. Also, my bios is up to date.

Heres the specs I think you need, if you need more I would be more than happy to provide them.

Mobo- Asus ROG Crosshair Formula IV
CPU- AMD 1090t Hexcore BE

New Ram- HyperX blu 8GB DDR3-1600 (PC3-12800) CL9 Dual Channel Desktop Memory Kit (Two 4GB Memory Modules)

Thank you very much for your time in advance

Ok, I see where you were going with the links, problem is I don't see the timings and voltage of my specific ram in there. And I've never OC'd ram to know what I'm doing. Can I just change the speed and put the voltage to what is on the package, or do I need to change the timings too?
