RAM not running at full speed

Hello,

i bought 2 sticks of 4GB ddr3 RAM @1866Mhz
but when i installed the sticks and i run speccy (its a program to see @ what temps ur components ar running)
it says the RAM is only runnning at 933Mhz
does RAM speed up when my comp needs it ? or does RAM only run at full Mhz ?

Hi, They run at 1866 (933x2). It's the way speccy, CPU-Z... show the RAM speed.
