Hi, I just wanna ask if there are instances that RAM's frequency can be downgraded after adding more or upgrading? I have a Laptop Asus Vivobook X442UQ and upgraded my ram from 8gb to 12gb by replacing my 4gb ram on my expansion slot with an 8gb stick. However, before upgrading the said ram my frequency speed running at task manager was running at 2400MHz but after the upgrade, it was downgraded to 2133MHz even if the replaced ram was also a 2400MHz stick. Please advise.
