Built a new PC last December, never had a problem.
Then yesterday, when I pressed power, the computer would turn on/off by itself repeatedly every 3 or so seconds.
I removed the RAM in slot 4 (leaving only 1 4gb in slot 2) and the computer worked. I replaced the CMOS battery and reset the BIOS using the jumper.
After this, with ram in slot 1 or 2, the computer turns on/off again every 3 seconds, with ram in 3 or 4, the computer works fine, just with no display.
So basically, I cannot even get into the BIOS or do anything since no combination of anything will give me a display or allow the computer to POST.
I assume its a problem with the mobo, but what would cause it to go bad over night?
It's a msi gaming 5, with 2x4gb g skillz, and a intel i5 4690k
NOT overclocked, all factory settings.
