So for some reason i decided to try to OC my ram, Kingston HyperX Fury ddr4 2666Mhz (i know slow af memory)
So i went to bios and clicked xmp on. it started to bluescreen for some odd reason. Enabled optimized defaults and everything worked. Turned xmp on once again and same thing.
For some odd reason i can oc the ram by selecting a freguency and cranking the voltage a bit so i was wondering is this normal? Or should i just put everything back to where it was so 2666mhz with the stock volts?
Bios is up to date
Ram number is HX426C16FB2K2/16 but i have 2 kits so its 4x8
Timings currently from nzxt cam: 16-18-18-39 (should be stock)
Mem Clock is 1600mhz with voltages of 1.35
Mobo and cpu combo is asus z390-f gaming with oc'd 9900k
