Here are some instructions from the user manual:

Does this mean i can only reach max 2667 Mhz but only if i install the RAMS into the A2+B2 slots? My original goal was reaching the max 3k Mhz but looks like its not possible with this mobo.

There was never problem for me to increase ram frequency over motherboards maximum supported mhz. For example my lga 1156 board supported max 1866 and i got it running 2133mhz stable.
Thing is i never oc:d ddr4 so its up for you to try out and test, however ignore the motherboard suggestions about maximum memory frequency.

Just remember to run your sticks in dual channel , so put your sticks in A2 and B2 slots. Or A1 + B1 .

Programs like cpu-z aida64 give you the value cut in half cause DDR = double data rate. If you set the frequency 3000 mhz in bios and you see 1500mhz in cpu-z its fine.
However you missed important thing of raising your DRAM voltage from 1.200v to 1.350v as stated in the xmp profile.

Its the setting under"voltage configuration" in your bios. dont change anything else and your set.
