Question Ram OC not running at what I set it to

Hi, recently I've tried overclocking my ram to 3600mhz, but when I check in the task manager it says it is only running at 2400mhz. Initially when I enabled the XMP profile my ram would only run at 3200mhz before I tried overclocking or changing anything. Is there any reason why it wouln't run at the speed I have it set to? Computer is prebuilt.
