Hi all,

I've right now 384 Mb RAM on my 8200 and would like to
increase it. How many slots are there for the RAM and what is
the type of memory I've to purchase ?

TIA

Jeff

Depends on whether it is a Dimension 8200 or an Inspiron 8200.

The Dimension 8200 needs PC800 16-bit RDRAM in pairs. You would currently
have 2X64 and 2X128, so you'll have to remove the two 64s to upgrade.

If it's an Inspiron 8200, you have a 128 and a 256 M PC2100 soDIMM - again,
you have to remove one of the modules to upgrade.
