RAM on AMD motherboard not running at correct frequency

I 2x8GB of G.Skill RAM on a X370-f motherboard that is advertized to run at 3.2kHz. For some reason, CPU-Z shows that it's running at a frequency of around 1kHz while the BIOS shows that it's running at around 2.3kHz. I tried to just set the frequency of the RAM in the BIOS to 3.2kHz but when rebooting I was given stability warnings so I set it back to auto. I haven't found any XMP settings on my BIOS and I'm not sure how find the actual frequency that my RAM is operating at and how to set it to run at 3.2kHz. Some help would be greatly appreciated!

Motherboard: ROG Strix X370-f Gaming
RAM: 2x8GB G.Skill Ripjaws 5

Solution
Yes, update the BIOS.

Section 3.2.2 of the User's manual shows the DOCP setting -- That is the AMD equivalent of XMP.
Section 3.11 if you need help with the BIOS update.

I updated my specs, and do you mean update the BIOS?
