Question ram only running on 1866mhz

I recently picked up a kit of corsair vengeance 2x8gb ddr4 3200mhz to pair with my g.skill ripjaws kit running at the same speed. When i went into bios it reads all 4 slots as being used, but that all of them are running at 1866mhz (it also says this in task manager). I turned on xmp profiles, set it to 3200mhz, then saved and exited bios to boot. I tried doing this a second time and it still runs at 1866mhz and i dont know why.

I have a ryzen 7 2700, gtx 1080, and an asrock phantom gaming 4 x570 motherboard

so there is no fix other than to take it out and return it?

Yes, I would take it out, and return it, then either buy an identical set to what you have, or a 2x16gb kit, and sell your current ram. 2nd option being the better choice.
