Hi Guys!

Im in a bit of a mind boggling dilemma here. This happened to me earlier, when i turned on my PC and leds for fans light up, it then automatically shuts down, then restarts, in a cycle until i manually turn off my pc. Now here's the thing, it already happened before, what I did was I reseated the RAM on another slot on my motherboard, it turned on fine, of course i thought it was the slot of my mobo. so basically this is the 2nd time it happened, now what I did was put the RAM on the original slot where it had the same issue before, but voila, it turned on fine.

So here I am now unsure what is really causing the problem, Is it the RAM or the motherboard slot? Or maybe something else, but I never really touched anything except for the RAM, also just unplugged and plugged the 6pin on my graphics card, but that just it.

My specs are on my sig, in case you are wondering what specific kingston RAM, its a hyperblu 8GB 1600Mhz, since my mobo has default 1333Mhz, its running on that latter clockspeed.

also tried running mdsched.exe and it said there were no errors

did the memtest86+ for 10 hours

Have you tried what tradesman has suggested?

Did you have any issues with previous RAM??

Maybe update BIOS?

Replace RAM with the recommeneded speed as opposed to using RAM with faster capabilities. - I know in theory this would work but not something i usually do.

haven't tried it since i wouldnt want to change any voltages.

this is the only RAM i've used with this PC, and im not sure if BIOS would be a problem since i recently changed my graphics card and it did not need any BIOS update
