ram overclocking keeps bsod when i over clock to full speed i got a rog b450 f gaming mother board and 2x8 Rgb corsiar 300hz ram only running at 1200hz
None of those numbers make any sense slow down and try again
Did you just try to set the speed at 3000? If so that'll almost always not work. You need to enable xmp/docp to set the timings for you as well
yes i tried to set the speed to 3000.current clockfor my ram is 1062mhz.
i have a ryzen 7 2700x cpu xmp is for intel right? and what should i use to set my speed and timmings
There will be some version of xmp in your bios might be docp or something similar that does the same thing. You can manually adjust both speed and timings if you wish but that's easier.
Additionally try 2933 when you do it usually 3000 straight up is a bit odd
