Hi, im looking to buy an i5 10400f and pair it with a h410m(msi h410m -a pro)motherboard , i already have a corsair value select 8x2 16gb ddr4 2400mhz memory ,i want to know if its possible to overclock it to 2666mhz on a h410 motherboard , ram prices are really high in my country ,so i want to know if i can just get away with the old kit or have to buy new one. Thanks!

Solution
That board allows RAM speeds up to 2666 with i5 CPU. However whether you will be able to OC your 2400 kit to 2666 depends more on RAM quality. We can't give you definitive yes or no here. However even if it wont run at 2666 it still will run at 2400, and the difference in performance should not be important.
