I've got a Kingston HyperX Fury 16GB (2 x 8GB) 2400MHz DDR4 RAM, side by side in the slots. Noticed my CPU temp during game seems moderate, but my ram feels like its on fire. This normal?

Specs:
Intel Core i5 6600k
Asus Rog-Strix Geforce 1060 GTX
Kingston 16gb 2400mhz ddr4 (2x 8 sticks)
Asus Z170A Motherboard
Corsair 750w Gold Cert Modular PSU
Standard Mid Tower Bitfenix Case
Samsung 850 Pro SSD 256gb
WD 2tb

Solution
RAM overheating is no longer an issue. People run 2400 DDR3 without heatsinks and DDR4 is even lower power. Last time I had to worry about overheating was with DDR2 2.8V dimms. DDR4 is 1.2-1.35v so you never have to worry about overheating.

But yes its normal for ram to be hot. My DDR3 sticks burn my hands if I touch them. It will not affect the life of the sticks. You could throw a fan on it if you really like, those mini ram fans are pointless and cost $20-30 a pop.
