Question Ram pin

I want to put in a second ram stick but on my motherboard the bottom pin opens up , but the top one doesnt . The bottom one i didnt even need to put pressure on it , it just opened.
What to do

It's been like that on mobos for 5-10 years. Only 1 side snaps closed.

That's not like that on all motherboards but is is on this one.
