RAM problem of PC

I have PC with
Processor Pentium (R)dual-core
Speed 2.70 GHZ
RAM 2GB(1.75GB usable)
OS Windows 7( 64-bit) .
I want to ask that can I increase
RAM of my PC upto 4GB ?
Does it really boost my PC for
OS-Windows 10 & Visual Studio 2013

You'll want DDR2 RAM 240-pin. The speed is the same as your current RAM speed, Speccy will tell you. It will be 533Mhz, 667Mhz or 800Mhz (this might show as 133, 166 or 200).

The maximum your board will take is 8GB, and for compatibility reasons, I recommend no more than 4GB (2x2GB). There are 4GB sticks on the memory QVL list, but I guess they will be hard to find on sale.

If you already have a 1x2GB of RAM, then you might look for another stick to match it. As it is, you're looking at 2x2GB of DDR2.
