Ram problem on Ep43-UD3L

I have an old GigaByte EP43-UD3L motherboard and right now i have one geil 2gb ram and one kingston 2gb ram
And my motherboard supports up to 16gb of ram
Now can i add a 4gb stick and have a total of 8gb?
Because it says that its a dual channel motherboard idk
I have 4 ram slots in total and 2 of them are free

Yes you can, although it would be best if you would actually buy a dual-channel kit (2 RAM sticks in package)
