Hello I think I have an issue with my RAM.
I've been playing Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain.
My PC specs are...
i7 4790k
GTX 980ti with 6gb of V-RAM
8gb RAM
I run the game at maximum settings and it runs very nicely with solid frame rates and no dips in quality.
However, I occasionally receive a windows error message saying that the application (the game) needs to close because there isn't enough memory and it could cause data loss.
Sometimes the game freezes for a few seconds and then continues as normal, last night it froze and would not wake up again, sometimes the error message appears but the game continues to run without even a pause, just as normal. Although the game freezes I can still access the in game menus, I just can't do anything in the game world.
I checked in task manager and it says the game is using just over 1,400,000k of memory, I don't run anything else at all while I'm playing.
I've heard of this potentially being a 'memory leak' which could be damaging to my system but I haven't heard of that so I'm not sure where to go.
Thanks, Lee.
