Here is my setup:
CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P ATX AM3+ Motherboard
Memory: EVGA Superclocked 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
Storage: OCZ TRION 150 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 950 2GB Superclocked Video Card
Case: Corsair SPEC-01 RED ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: XFX XT 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM (64-bit)
The problem is that windows crashes freezes and then crashes after a few minutes.
I originally installed Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB 2 x 4GB 1600mhz. That kept crashing windows installation. I had some old Kingston ram laying around. 2x2gb 1333mhz. I installed those and everything worked great.
I figured bad ram and RMA'd it. I picked up the evga ram. Same problem with windows. Freezes and crashes after a few minutes.
It works fine with the old Kingston ram.
I tried clearing the cmos. The evga ram is 1866. I tried setting that in the bios. Nothing has helped.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
