Good Day.

I own a Dell Latitude E7270. The current RAM module installed is a Micron 8GB 2RX8 PC4-2133P-SBB-11. I am planning to add another 8gb of RAM and saw one online.

Team Elite SODIMM DDR4 2400MHZ 1 X 8GB
  • DDR4 2400MHz (PC4-19200)
  • 1.2V memory module
  • CL16-16-16-39
  • Completely compatible with X99 & Skylake chipset
Will this going to run smoothly together with my current RAM module?

Thank You very much.

No one will ever be able to answer this for you unfortunately.

RAM is only guaranteed in the form sold (from the same pack) regardless as to the make / model / timings etc. This is due to how delicate the manufacturing process is, and how often it can change. Not saying it never works, but it's a gamble.

Hi @egoymaster

I would highly advise that you either buy a matching 16GB kit or another Micron 8GB stick to match what you have. It's never a good idea to mix n' match RAM.

Here is RAM that's compatible with your laptop.

Enjoy! :)
